Video & Manual

WARNING
It is very important to read and understand all safety-related materials supplied by TorchRite Solutions and its suppliers before using the Safe-T Torch™ system. The system must be handled by a fully trained torch operator who understands the proper torch and gas safety requirements outlined by local, provincial/state, and federal guidelines, regulations, and laws.
Components

The Safe-T Torch™ system is cutting-edge in design, yet simple in application. It empowers the torch operator to control the flow of pressurized gases to their workspace, allowing immediate control of the torch flame by using six key components:

Safe-T Torch™ Handle

It is ergonomic and equipped with a trigger assembly that is fastened to the torch handle and has a connection point for the control cord.

Safe-T Torch™ Hose

The assembly includes:

  • A red and green gas hose, available in 25-foot, 50-foot, or 100-foot lengths, with a control cord that connects the Safe-T Torch™ handle to the Safe-T Torch™ enclosure.
  • The hose and control cord are secured together and protected from abrasion and physical damage by a lightweight, flame-retardant, and breathable sleeving.

Milwaukee 18V Battery

A fully charged 5-amp battery can power the system continuously for up to five hours of use.
IMPORTANT: Recommended maximum battery capacity is 5Ah.

Safe-T Torch™ Enclosure

It has multiple components and features consisting of:

  • Three LED lights, one green and two red. When the green light is on, it indicates that the torch is being used by the operator. Red lights turning on mean that both oxygen and fuel lines are pressurized.
  • An Emergency Stop button that shuts off all power to the Safe-T Torch™ enclosure and stops the flow of dangerous pressurized gases to the torch handle.
  • Clearly marked labels for oxygen and fuel designated by “IN” and “OUT” for appropriate hose connections and control cord connection.

Mounting Bracket

It comes with a cam lock nylon strap to secure the Safe-T Torch™ enclosure to an oxygen cylinder.
